We are very glad to present our 8th and talented speaker of the day!

Matija Pužar is a Senior Engineer at the USIT/UiO, University of Oslo, working with developing web applications. He is also a Certified LEGO® Professional, a hobby that he has transformed into his main business.

He makes his own creations no matter how complex they are. Even though his work often revolves around the LEGO minifigure, no scale is off limits. Their main purpose is to express creativity.

He thinks that is a common misconception to believe that LEGO Bricks are only toys for children. Matija's mission is to spread the joy of the brick among the adult population. He achieves this by designing commissioned models, mosaics, portraits, LEGO® related team building events, or other requests people may come up with.

Be ready to witness some of Matija’s creations on live!

Let's start a fresh and healthy weekend by presenting our next entrepreneur!

Antoinette Botti, an African born Norwegian entrepreneur has worked for many organizations like The Norwegian Red Cross, Frivillighet Norge. She has experience with volunteer organizations.

Founder of PAWA (Panafrican Women ́s Association in Norway), Antoinette was nominated by the American embassy in Norway to participate in an International Visitor Program about volunteering and its impact in the society.

In 2011, she founded Ging natural ginger drink, which was inspired to set up The Zomadre Women’s Project in her homeland, the Ivory Coast, where up to 90% of the production is grown by women.

Using her African heritage and the springboard of her ever-growing business, Ms Botti aims to empower women in rural Africa through training, investment and nurturing local skills and talent to provide a decent livelihood and access to education for all.

Get ready to hit the dancefloor with our next performers and “Norske Talenter” of the event!

Juice Crew is a Norwegian dance crew from Oslo. Since spring 2011, the group constituted by Moh Dasoki, Raid Al-Idani, Hassan Elahi and Dejan Karic have been sharing their knowledge and dance style by travelling the country holding workshops and showcases, also through national TV like Norway’s Got Talent 2012, where they reached the top 10.

Focusing on the international level, the crew have their online bases on Youtube and Facebook, which are rapidly growing.

They are a great example of the power of collaboration. Separately they are great dancers, but collectively they represent something much more, the next generation.

Want much more about our event? We are honoured to present our next entrepreneur!!

Mr. Christian Salbu Aasland holds an M.Sc in physical electronics from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a MBA from The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

After spending five years in various positions in the R&D and technology department at Statoil, he decided to quit and start Keep-it Technologies.

He has spent the last seven years developing a great idea concocted at the University of Life Sciences from the lab bench onto products you can buy in your local Rema 1000 store. The final product is a small adhesive that makes the generic “best before” date on food products smarter by tracking each product’s refrigeration cycles.

Keep-it Technologies has increased its production six times last year, but the journey has just begun.

What is TED and TEDxTrondheim?

TED is a nonprofit devoted to “Ideas worth spreading”. It organizes high profile conferences that bring together some of the world’s greatest thinkers and doers to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less. These talks are then posted on TED.com, where they reach an audience of millions around the world.

TEDxTrondheim creates certified and independently organized TED events to spread great ideas and build a community of curious minds in Trondheim. We highlight forward-thinking ideas that attract Trondheim’s most open-minded professionals and students across all fields. Here are two short video clips showing what TED and TEDx is all about.
