TEDxTrondheim store and process personal information when you sign up for the event. We also collect data from our website and through our event-app. This personal information is your name, email, and where you work. We do not collect names and personal information at an individual level on the website. When you are on our website, it is not possible for us to see who you are. Only which country you come from, when you were there, and how long you were there.
We use your information to talk to you before, during, and after TEDxTrondheim. If we observe that you have not been informed of an important detail, we can send you an email, giving you the information you need. We also use this information to provide you with general information about this year’s event. Who is talking when? What are they going to talk about? What happens outside the mainstage? How do you download our app? How can you utilize the app in the best way? In order for us to provide you with the answers to these questions, we use your email to contact you through for example our newsletter.
We store your personal information for 2 years after this year’s event. This will be renewed if you register as a volunteer, buy a ticket, or download the app again the next year. If you do not, your information will be deleted after 2 years.
Arendal municipality are the responsible organization for your personal information. The administrators of TEDxTrondheim.com has the daily responsibility.
